The angels have once returned. After a revival in 2024, Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show occurred again on October 15th, live from New York City. Marking the second show the brand has hosted after its 5-year hiatus. This year’s runway was not just about showcasing the brand’s new lingerie collections, but also exhibiting their new identity, incorporating inclusive and diverse models while retaining the nostalgia and glamour that initially made the brand iconic. Here’s a recap of some of the highlights from one of fashion’s most talked-about nights.

Started with a Bang: Jasmine Tookes Opens the Show

The night started with a moment that made history, with model Jasmine Tookes opening for the brand. Tookes, who is nine months pregnant with her second child, wore a teardrop-shaped pearl-covered gold slip fishnet dress. In place of traditional angel wings, Tookes wore a clamshell-shaped cape, decorated with large pearls, and completed with gold heels. Tookes glided down the runway with grace and confidence, with her baby bump on display, making for an incredibly memorable first-look.

The Rise of Gen Z Supermodels

In this year’s show, Victoria’s Secret welcomed a new wave of Gen-Z it girls, shaping the modern fashion scene. Featuring many influential figures, such as Iris Law, Alex Consani, Barbie Ferreira, Anok Yai, and Lila Moss, among others. Each brought their own energy and unique identity, diversifying the appeal of the brand. Particularly, Ferreira — known for her body positivity advocacy and Consani, a trans model breaking boundaries in fashion, captured this aim wholeheartedly.

PINK’s Playful Comeback

The beloved PINK collection, the youthful sub-brand of Victoria’s Secret, made its comeback on the 2025 runway. The collection saw a mix of comfy, fun, and casual wear, an influence of collegiate and athleisure clothing — it was a perfect blend of nostalgia matched with current contemporary trends.

This section of the show displayed more notable figures, including Lila Moss and Iris Law. Moss wore a grey PINK long-sleeved sweatshirt combo, while Law wore a black cropped tee reading “Naughty-ish” paired with black boxer shorts. Both models were dressed in striped over-the-knee socks and knitted beanies, a classic accessory of the PINK collection.

K-pop girl group TWICE performed while accompanying the models presenting the PINK collection. The performers themselves were dressed head to toe in PINK wear paired with long pink furry boots. Tzuyu’s “Wear Everywhere Push-Up Bra” in Heather Burgundy went viral after the performance, becoming an instant sellout.

History Made: Athletes hit the runway

Beyond making fashion headlines, the 2025 show made sports history by using some of America’s most esteemed female athletes as models — Angel Reese and Sunisa Lee.

WNBA player Angel Reese became the first professional athlete ever to walk in a Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, sporting two pink lingerie sets for her VS Fashion Show debut. Her first look featured a cutout T-shirt worn with a pink lace set, accompanied with clear angel wings. Her second look was a floral lingerie set with a matching wrap.

Meanwhile, Sunisa Lee wore PINK, wearing a pink sports bra with a ‘PINK’ logo in silver letters matched with a pair of black shorts. The look was completed with a cropped hoodie with miniature angel wings adorned on the back.

The Iconic Angels Return

While the show saw new models, die-hard fans were by no means deprived. The show brought back some of the most iconic supermodels, synonymous with the brand such as, Adriana Lima, Behati Prinsloo, Emily Ratajkowski, Candice Swanepoel, Barbara Palvin, and Irina Shayk all made their angelic return to the catwalk. The supermodel sisters, Gigi and Bella Hadid also made their iconic return.

Bella Hadid closed the show, wearing a memorable silver tassel set paired with white, textured angel wings.

A Star-Studded Musical Lineup

As the angels walked the runway, musical performances from Madison Beer, TWICE, Karol G, and Missy Elliot accompanied the models. Each artist brought a different mood, evoking the different angles of the brand. Beer’s sultry voice matched the lacey, floral soft looks; TWICE’s pop music complemented PINK’s playful collection; and Karol G’s fiery performance of Latin-pop powered the red section. Finally, Missy Elliot closed the show with a medley before all the models came together for one final walk.
